Speaker Bio

John M. Nemerofsky, Vice President Sales and Marketing, Niscayah, Inc. During his more than twenty years serving the security industry, John Nemerofsky has established himself as a leading entrepreneur and influencer, holding a wide range of key positions. A graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, John began his career with one of the most widely recognized national brands in security, as a National Sales Manager in 1987. He then moved to a leading integration firm specializing in complex infrastructure projects. In 1995 John became president and co-founder of one of the most successful regional integration companies in existence. John was instrumental in the national growth of the organization and subsequent sale of the company. In 2006 John went on to form TSS International, a premier executive search and consulting firm where he served as President until July, 2009 selling the company to his partner. From 2006-2009 while operating TSS, John co-founded TheSecuritySpace.com, a social networking site for the security professional, Smarter Access Technologies, creating the first true access control network appliance and WeSuite, a business process improvement software solution. Currently, as the VP Sales & Marketing for Niscayah, John reports to the President, Marty Guay, and is part of the senior management team. John's primary areas of responsibility are to create, fully define, plan and direct the strategic and tactical direction for corporate sales, sales personnel and market positioning. John is leading the growth of the organization in building long term customer relationships through service. As a member of the senior management team, John has input into all strategic decisions, plans, financial goals, and business objectives in the company. John participates in several professional and community organizations. He currently serves multiple volunteer positions for ASIS International, and has held multiple leadership positions at the national and international level including chairperson of the Commission on Chapters. John serves on the board of directors for SecurityXchange, a security buying exchange and Intransa, a leading network storage solution company. John has served as chairman of the Panasonic Dealer Council, vice chairman of the Honeywell Dealers Council, president of the Tyco Business Council and regional vice president for the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

Increased bandwidth, better compression and hosted security systems are making Security as a Service (SaaS) a reality, alleviating the customer's task of software maintenance, ongoing operation, and support. SaaS services include alarm, camera, and condition monitoring, with the recording and monitoring hardware for the services hosted at the central station or a third party provider. Minimal investment and services tailored to special needs of virtually any user make remote video monitoring a necessary investment for a wide range of resellers. This panel of experts will explain how IP-based monitoring solutions are effectively used in providing SaaS, outline the benefits of this new model, and give real-life examples of its usage.
