Jo Stark is the Global Director of Digital Video Surveillance in IBM Security Services. In this global role, he is responsible for managing and growing the business for digital video surveillance services and solutions that reflect the dynamic client needs and market transition in the physical security business. Prior to that he held numerous international executive and management positions in Technology, Strategy, Business Development and Sales , in areas including Emerging Business Technologies, Digital Media, Smartcards, Wireless e-business Services, and S/390 CPU Logic Design. A graduate of University of Karlsruhe, Germany, Mr. Stark holds a master's degree in Mathematics, and post-graduate studies in economics from Business School, Erftstadt, Germany.

There are many issues and questions surrounding the future of intelligent video. These include technology focused issues as well as market adoption and application issues. This presentation will discuss the ten year future of the video analytics market from all of these perspectives. Specific topics include analytics functionality, accuracy, embedded analytics, supporting video devices, computing power, market adoption and future applications of video and analytics.
