Scott Schafer is the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Arecont Vision, the leader in Megapixel IP technology. Mr. Schafer responsibility for the company's global operation that markets IP-based high-resolution megapixel video surveillance solutions throughout its domestic and international regions. Mr. Schafer held the posts of Senior Vice President of The Americas, and Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and North American Sales during his 5 years at Pelco/Schneider Electric. His experience also includes Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, the leader in enterprise software for the automotive industry. He served in many management roles at NCR Corporation during his 19 years, including the VP and General Manager of global networking and high availability services, Vice President of Product Marketing for the Computer Systems Division, and Vice President of major accounts for NCR's USA reseller division. Scott Schafer has a B.S. in Finance from Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Capital University. “Early in my career, I learned how important it is to recognize business opportunities as they develop, and to quickly execute a strategy that takes advantage of those opportunities,” said Schafer. “Arecont Vision's unique position in the megapixel camera market presents numerous opportunities in the professional security market.
