Sascha Kylau, Tyco Safety Products Canada Ltd. Sascha joined Sur-Gard, a strategic brand within Tyco Safety Products Canada Ltd., in 1998 as a member of the engineering department. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering and has used his expertise in a variety of positions at Sur-Gard, including Sales Engineer, Manager, Field Support Dept, New Business Development Manager and Product Manager. Sascha currently fills the position of Business Development Manager, Central Station & Communication products- Global. He is a seasoned public speaker on such topics as central station receivers, VoIP, IP Technology and telecommunications. Sascha is keenly involved in the security industry and participates as an active member of CANASA, SIA and CSAA.

A sea of change is rapidly transforming how people communicate, and security professionals who don't embrace this transformation are putting their businesses at risk. This is because mobile gadgets such as the iPhone and BlackBerry have become must haves for today's consumers. As a result, it's inevitable that mobile monitoring will come into high demand as more home and business owners become aware that these devices can serve as extensions of the alarm panel. Therefore the integration community has a major opportunity to use these technologies to simplify security, and make it a bigger part of the consumer's daily routine. This presentation will detail the latest advancements in mobile monitoring using popular consumer products, as well as ways dealers can effectively capitalize upon them to sustain and grow their businesses.
