Speaker Bio
Steve Surfaro is Axis Communications Strategic Channel Manager and Security Industry Liaison. He works with end users, consultants, telecom providers and systems integrators to achieve successful Network or SaaS-based video applications. Prior to Axis, Steve served as group manager and strategic technical liaison at Panasonic. Prior to that Steve was an account manager at Wells Fargo Alarm Services.
A regular contributor to numerous industry forums and blogs, Steve has been quoted and published in many Infrastructure, Safety and Security-related publications such as Access Control, Security Director News and Security Products.
Steve recently completed a significant contribution to BICSI's CCTV and Integration Chapters for their upcoming Electronic Security Manual. Steve holds a bachelors degree in engineering from The Cooper Union.
